Community rules

Last updated October 9, 2026

Comments are open on our guides, news, rumor pages and the map, free and with no account. Keep them friendly and useful. A moderator reads the reports every day and removes anything that breaks these rules.

Who can comment

Anyone 13 or older. You pick a display name the first time you comment or post a map find; it stays with this device and shows on everything you post. Don't pick a name that pretends to be someone else, like Rockstar staff or one of our moderators.

Be kind

  • No insults, harassment or threats, and no hate against anyone for their race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexuality, disability or nationality.
  • No slurs, no sexual content and no gore.
  • Argue with the idea, not the person.

Stay on topic

  • Talk about the page you are on: the game, the news, the guide or the map.
  • After launch, warn before story spoilers: start your comment with "Spoiler".
  • Don't post the same thing twice or fill a comment with emoji or capitals.

No spam or scams

  • No ads, self-promotion, referral or promo codes, giveaways or "message me" offers.
  • No selling or buying accounts, money drops, boosting or mod menus.
  • Links are never clickable here. A link to a site other than YouTube, TikTok, X, Reddit, Imgur, Instagram, Twitch, Rockstar Games or this site waits for a moderator.

No leaks or piracy

We don't host leaked, datamined or pirated material, as our editorial policy explains. Talking about public news is fine; posting the material itself, or where to get it, is not.

Keep personal details private

Never post anyone's real name, address, phone number, email or social accounts, your own included. A comment with an email address or a phone number waits for a moderator.

How moderation works

  • An automatic check holds comments with unknown links, slurs, spam, contact details or leaked material. You see yours marked "In review" until a moderator decides.
  • Anyone can report a comment. Three reports from different people hide it until a moderator checks it.
  • A moderator goes through held and reported comments every day, puts back what is fine and removes what breaks these rules. A device that keeps breaking them can no longer post.
  • Limits keep things human: a few comments a minute and a daily cap per device.

Your comments

Comments are public, and you are responsible for what you post. We can remove any comment. To have your comments deleted, to ask us to look at a decision again, or for a copyright or legal request, contact us. What we store is in our privacy policy.
