Questions people ask
Is there a GTA 6 companion app?
Rockstar has not announced one. This page works like one in your phone's browser: pick the mission you're on and it shows the walkthrough, what opens next and the collectibles nearby. Add it to your home screen to open it like an app.
Does the companion spoil the story?
No. Mission names only show in the chapter you open, and the next mission stays hidden until you tap it.
Do I need an account?
No. Your progress saves on this device. Accounts with an email code open later, if you want it on another phone too.
Can I keep my phone screen on while I play?
Yes. Tap Keep screen on, and the page stops your phone from locking while it is open, in browsers that allow it. Dim the page lowers the brightness in a dark room.
