GTA 6 Price Around the World: Pakistan, UAE and Nigeria

GTA 6 costs $79.99 in the US, and what it costs where you live depends on one thing: whether your country's PlayStation Store or Xbox Store sells it. In the UAE it is AED 299.16 on the PlayStation Store and $79.99 on the Xbox Store; in Saudi Arabia SAR 301.56 and SAR 309; in Japan ¥9,800 on both.

Pakistan, Nigeria, Egypt, Bangladesh and the Philippines have no store listing at all, which is why prices quoted there come from local shops, not from Sony or Microsoft. Below are the store prices we read on October 11, 2026, the countries with no store, and the region rules that decide whether a code will work for you.

GTA 6 prices in Asia, the Gulf and Africa

These are the stores' own list prices in each country's currency, read from each country's PlayStation Store and Xbox Store listing, not conversions.

Country	PlayStation Store: Standard / Ultimate	Xbox Store: Standard / Ultimate	Ultimate Upgrade (Xbox)
United Arab Emirates	AED 299.16 / AED 373.96	$79.99 / $99.99 (US dollars)	$20
Saudi Arabia	SAR 301.56 / SAR 376.96	SAR 309 / SAR 389	SAR 80
India	Rs 5,999 / Rs 7,499	Rs 5,999 / Rs 7,499	Rs 1,500
South Africa	R1,499 / R1,899	R1,499 / R1,899	R400
Japan	¥9,800 / ¥12,280	¥9,800 / ¥12,280	¥2,480
South Korea	₩89,800 / ₩112,800	₩89,800 / ₩112,800	₩23,000
Singapore	S$109 / S$136	S$109 / S$136	S$27
Malaysia	RM339 / RM419	Not sold on the Xbox Store
Indonesia	Rp1,190,000 / Rp1,490,000	Not sold on the Xbox Store

The two stores disagree in two of these countries. In Saudi Arabia the PlayStation copy is SAR 7.44 cheaper for the Standard Edition and SAR 12.04 cheaper for the Ultimate. In the UAE the Xbox Store prices the game in US dollars while the PlayStation Store uses dirhams. Everywhere else in the table, both stores charge the same.

Two more PlayStation Stores in the region: Hong Kong lists HK$568 and HK$708, and Thailand THB 2,690 and THB 3,390. The full list of more than 20 regions, with the US, UK, euro countries, Latin America and Australia, is on our GTA 6 price by country page.

Countries where no store sells GTA 6

Country	PlayStation Store	Xbox Store	On Rockstar's pre-order list
Pakistan	No local store: its address opens the US store	No GTA 6 listing	No
Nigeria	No local store: its address opens the US store	No GTA 6 listing	No
Bangladesh	No local store: its address opens the US store	No GTA 6 listing	No
Egypt	No local store: its address opens the US store	The Egyptian store does not list GTA 6	No
Philippines	No local store: its address opens the US store	The Philippine store does not list GTA 6	No
Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman	Local stores exist but show no GTA 6 page	Qatar and Kuwait: no GTA 6 listing	No

Rockstar's pre-order page names the countries for each store and adds that GTA 6 "will be made available in additional countries as allowed by platform policies, regional regulations, and age ratings". It has not said which countries, or when.

So when someone asks for the GTA 6 price in Pakistan or Nigeria, the honest answer is that there isn't one. A price in rupees or naira is a reseller's, set by that shop, and almost always for a code or an account from another country's store.

How region locks work for GTA 6 codes

Rockstar's rule is short: "Region restrictions for code redemptions of Grand Theft Auto VI are based on the region associated with your platform account." It recommends buying "from a retailer that is in the country of your platform account to avoid potential activation problems."

On PlayStation, a code sold in one group of countries only works on accounts from the same group. These are Rockstar's groups:

Code sold in	Works on PlayStation accounts from
Brazil	Brazil
Latin America	Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay
North America	Canada, United States
Korea	South Korea
Japan	Japan (codes expire 170 days after the November 19 launch)
United Kingdom	United Kingdom
Saudi Arabia and UAE	Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates
Rest of Asia	Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand
Rest of Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia	Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine

Sony backs this up on its own help pages: "The voucher code needs to be for the same region as your account", and it is "not possible to change the region of an account".

On Xbox, Rockstar says: "Codes purchased are not region-locked." Microsoft's general rules still apply to your account, though. It asks that "the region on your Microsoft account matches your physical location", lists "redeeming region-locked content by masking your location" among the things it does not allow, and may decline or reverse such purchases. Gift cards are a separate case: error XBOS3004 means the card's currency does not match your account's.

If your country has no store: the honest options

1. Wait for Rockstar. It has said more countries will follow. If yours is one, its store will list a local price, and we add every new store to this page and to the price by country table.
2. Xbox Series X|S with a code. Rockstar's no-region-lock rule for Xbox makes this the less fragile route, but Rockstar has not said whether a code works on an account registered in a country where the Xbox Store does not sell GTA 6. Ask the seller what happens if it does not redeem before you pay.
3. A PlayStation account from a store country. Players who already hold one, for example from living abroad, can buy there. We do not recommend making an account for a country you do not live in: Sony says an account's region can never be changed, and Microsoft says outright that masking your location is not allowed on Xbox.

Our take: the safe purchase is the one where three things match: the store the code comes from, the region of your account, and where you live. If a seller in Pakistan, Nigeria or Egypt cannot tell you which store region a code is for, do not buy it, and never pay for a "shared account" or a login someone else controls. Our server status and error codes page lists what each redemption error means if a code fails.

Why prices differ between countries

Each country's store lists its own local price, so the same game costs very different amounts in local money and in hours of work. Our GTA 6 Affordability Index turns the store prices into hours of work at each country's minimum wage, which shows the gap more clearly than any exchange rate.
