How GTA 6 Cheat Sheet researches, writes, labels and corrects what it publishes. In short: every fact has a source, every rumor is labelled as one, and mistakes are fixed in the open.

This policy covers everything on gta6cheatsheet.com in every language, whoever drafts it. Cheat Sheet Labs publishes the site; see about us.

Sources

A fact goes on the site when it has one primary source or two independent, reputable outlets.

  • Primary sources are Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive (their sites, trailers, newswire and earnings calls), the PlayStation Store and the Xbox Store, and the ratings boards (ESRB, PEGI and others).
  • Reputable outlets are publications with editors and a record of corrections, such as established gaming and business news sites. Two of them reporting the same thing independently is the minimum; one outlet repeating another counts once.
  • Every fact page lists its sources with a link and the date we checked them, and shows when the page was last checked.

What we never publish

  • Leaked footage, datamined files, the leaked map, or any claim that only traces back to them.
  • Numbers, names, dates or quotes a source doesn't give. If no source says it, neither do we.
  • Made-up cheat codes, glitches presented as features, or "secrets" no one has shown on video.
  • AI-generated images presented as the game, Rockstar's logos used as our own branding, or adult imagery.

How we label what we know

Fact pages carry one of three labels. Confirmed: a primary source said it. Reported: two independent outlets said it and Rockstar has not. Debunked: shown to be false. Rumors live only in the rumor tracker, never mixed into the answers on other pages, and each one gets a rating:

  • Confirmed: Rockstar, Take-Two, PlayStation or Xbox said it.
  • Shown in trailers: Seen in Rockstar's own footage; Rockstar hasn't described it in detail yet.
  • Likely: Strong evidence from reputable outlets, no word from Rockstar.
  • Rumor: Claimed somewhere, not backed up yet.
  • Unknown: Nobody credible has said either way.
  • Debunked: Shown to be false.

Fan theories credit the person who posted them and link the original post. Predictions, like the ones in our daily poll, are marked as predictions, and our opinions are marked "Our take".

How we use AI tools

We use AI tools to help research stories, draft and translate pages, and check them. They work under this policy, not instead of it: a draft only goes live after it passes the source rules above and an automated check that rejects filler phrasing, missing sources, broken links and unlabelled claims. We do not use AI to invent quotes, sources, screenshots or test results, and we never present something as played or tested before it was.

Images

Until the game is out, our pictures are Rockstar's own artwork and screenshots, used for news and commentary and credited on the page. After launch we add our own in-game captures. Rockstar's art never appears in our logo, icons or app listings. If you hold the rights to an image here and want it credited differently or removed, contact us and we will act on it promptly.

Independence

No one pays us to cover a story, to rate a rumor or to recommend a product. Ads are chosen by the ad network, not by us, and they never influence what we write. If a page carries affiliate links, it says so next to them. We do not publish sponsored articles; if that ever changes, they will be labelled as sponsored at the top.

Updates and corrections

  • Fact pages are re-checked as news breaks, and their "last checked" date shows when that happened. The "updated" date only changes when the content does.
  • When a rumor settles, for example on launch day, we update its rating the same day.
  • If we get something wrong, we correct the page, update its date and, when the error mattered, say what changed. You can report a mistake on our contact page.

Translations

Spanish and Portuguese pages are translations of the English ones, made with AI tools under the same rules. Each one records the English version it was made from, and the site refuses to publish a translation whose dates, prices or statuses no longer match the English page.

Fan games

Our arcade games are original fan games. Their cars, city, characters and puzzles are our own designs, they contain no art, music or code from GTA 6, and nothing in them is for sale.
