Physical copy: a code in a box
The boxed Standard Edition holds a download code and no disc. Rockstar expects boxed copies in stores and shipping from November 12, so you can redeem the code and preload the same day digital preloads open. There is no boxed Ultimate Edition.
On PlayStation, codes only work on accounts from the region where they were sold. Xbox codes are not region-locked.
