GTA 6 Legendary Animals
Image: Rockstar Games
Rockstar has not shown where to find rare and legendary animals yet, so this layer of our GTA 6 map fills when the game is out on November 19, 2026. Rockstar told Game Informer that animals are sorted into Rare, Discoverable and Legendary and can be tracked, Wccftech reports. IGN adds that Rockstar confirmed rare animal types without revealing any.

How this layer fills
We add a pin when Rockstar names or shows a spot, or when we check one in the game, and every pin cites its source. Until it is checked in the game, a pin sits where Rockstar's words or footage put it and says so. Found one yourself? Drop your own marker on the map and send it as a find.

Rockstar has not shown where they are yet. This layer of our map fills when the game is out on November 19, 2026, and every pin will cite its source.
Are there legendary animals in GTA 6?
Yes. Rockstar told Game Informer some animals are Legendary, and it is keeping them secret until the game is out.
When will this GTA 6 map show every legendary animal?
From launch day, November 19, 2026. We add spots as we check them in the game or as Rockstar reveals them, so the layer grows through launch week. Pins you mark as found save on your device.
