Rockstar has not shown where to find police impounds yet, so this layer of our GTA 6 map fills when the game is out on November 19, 2026. IGN's preview says a car fence may give you the code for a police impound full of vehicles ready to boost. VICE, rounding up the previews, adds that a car you abandon during a police chase may be guarded or impounded, which makes it cost more to get back.

How do you get your car back from the impound in GTA 6?
VICE reports that the Scooter Bros app can bring a personal vehicle back to you, and that an impounded car costs more to recover. The exact price is not known yet.
