GTA 6 News Today (October 8, 2026): First Radio Stations
The short answer
Rockstar names GTA 6's first six radio stations, hosted by stars like Bad Bunny and Lana Del Rey, adds radio on foot and opens a GTA VI merch collection.

Rockstar named GTA 6's first six radio stations today and put a short preview of each on its GTA VI music page. Bad Bunny, Lana Del Rey, Morgan Wallen, Burna Boy and Slayer's Kerry King and Tom Araya are among the hosts. Rockstar also opened a GTA VI merchandise collection on its store and released three new screenshots. Nothing changed on dates or prices: GTA 6 still launches November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, with preloading from November 12.
Six radio stations, and who hosts them
Rockstar's music page lists each station with its in-game hosts. IGN, Rolling Stone and Miami New Times name the stars who voice them.
- Cocoteo FM plays modern Latin music, from bachata and merengue to dembow and reggaeton. Hosts: El Martillo (Bad Bunny) and La Gata (RaiNao).
- Back Country Radio plays what Rockstar calls renegade country. Hosts: MW (Morgan Wallen) and Delta Dawne (Lana Del Rey), with Jeremy Dufrene as roving reporter Mud Dog Mike.
- AfroBank FM mixes African classics with amapiano and 3-step. Hosts: Burna (Burna Boy) and Palmsy (Palms Trax).
- The Chamber 106.6 plays metal from the 1980s on. Hosts: DJ Kerry (Kerry King) and DJ Tom (Tom Araya).
- Flash FM, the station GTA Vice City players will remember, now plays pop. Hosts: Robyn and Alex (Alex Consani).
- Dirty South Classics plays regional rap and hip-hop classics. Hosts: Trick (Trick Daddy) and Trina.
Each preview runs under three minutes and plays three songs, 18 in all, including Bad Bunny's "EoO", Slayer's "Raining Blood", MGMT's "Electric Feel" and DJ Khaled's "Born N Raised". Rockstar says GTA 6 has its biggest and widest-ranging selection of radio and podcasts yet, with stations from classic rock to talk radio, so these six are only part of the lineup. We added all 18 songs, by station, to our radio stations list.

Radio on foot, and podcasts
Rockstar's post adds two things players have asked about for years. According to Push Square, which quotes the post, and IGN, Jason and Lucia can listen to the radio on foot "through newly introduced headphones and earbuds connected to their smartphones", and the game has "a series of on-demand podcasts", a first for the series. In GTA V the radio played only in vehicles and some buildings.

A GTA VI collection at the Rockstar Store
Rockstar's store now has a Grand Theft Auto VI Collection: T-shirts (one with Macca the Gator, others with "Goodtime State" and the game's logo), canvas totes, a Vice City money clip, a Vice City Zippo lighter, a keychain and sticker sets. The caps are marked "coming soon", as is The Goodtime State collector's box, which Rockstar has said arrives November 19. Prices on the store change with your region, so we have not listed them.

What it means for players
Our take: radio on foot is the biggest gameplay change in today's news. In GTA V the music stopped when you left the car; in GTA 6 it can follow you through a shootout or a walk on the beach, and podcasts give you something to listen to that is not music. The host list also says a lot about where the game is set: Trick Daddy and Trina are Miami rap figures, and Flash FM is a callback to GTA Vice City. Six stations is only a first look, though, and three-song previews say little about how a station holds up across a full playthrough. Listen to Rockstar's previews if you want a feel for it now, and treat any "full GTA 6 radio list" you see online with care: Rockstar has named only these six so far.
