GTA 6 News Today (October 27, 2026): Edge Cover Story

Edge magazine visited Rockstar's Edinburgh studio for a 16-page GTA 6 cover story that goes on sale on Thursday, October 29, and the whole feature will be free to read online the same day (GamesRadar+, PC Gamer, VICE). In Miami, a "Leonida" coffee made with Rockstar went on sale, and Skinny Louie's named its Burger Shot menu. Nothing changed on dates or prices: GTA 6 still launches November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, with preloading from November 12.

Edge's GTA 6 cover story lands October 29

Edge, the UK games magazine, says its team traveled to Rockstar's Edinburgh development headquarters to talk to the leadership team behind GTA 6. The result is a 16-page cover story in Edge 430, on sale October 29, with interviews, new screenshots made for the magazine and a gatefold cover with art of Jason and Lucia. GamesRadar+ and PC Gamer, which belong to Future, the company that publishes Edge, both say the full feature will be free to read on GamesRadar+ that day, and VICE reported the same date.

None of the three gives a time for the online version. VICE guesses around 10 AM UK time, based on earlier issues, and says so itself. We will read the feature on Thursday and add anything Rockstar says on the record to our pages, with the quote. Until then, treat social posts built from the low-resolution screenshots in Edge's preview video as guesswork.

Leonida, a GTA 6 coffee from Vice City Bean

Vice City Bean, a Miami coffee roaster with three cafes (Edgewater/Wynwood, Brickell and The Citadel, per its own site), now sells a blend called Leonida, named after GTA 6's version of Florida. Its shop lists it as the "GTA VI Miami 'Vice City' Collaboration," at $23 for a 10 oz bag, with pickup at its North Miami Avenue cafe or shipping. GameSpot and Miami New Times both report it as a partnership with Rockstar Games, and both describe a medium roast that blends Colombian and Ethiopian coffees. GameSpot calls it a "limited release," and Miami New Times says it is on sale while supplies last.

We held this back on October 26 because only GameSpot had it. With a second outlet and the shop's own listing, it goes in our table below.

Burger Shot's menu, and "participating" restaurants

Skinny Louie's press release of October 26, reported by Axios Miami and Miami New Times, names the Burger Shot menu: "The Bleeder" triple, a Burger Shot single and double, and a caramel milkshake. From early November through December 31, participating restaurants get Burger Shot signs, uniforms and packaging, and the chain's Kaseya Center counter runs as a Burger Shot. Co-founder Gonzalo Rubino said it means more because South Florida is "where Vice City draws so much of its inspiration" (both outlets).

One detail differs from what we reported on October 25. The joint Rockstar and Skinny Louie post said "every Skinny Louie spot in Florida," while the release, as both outlets quote it, says participating locations. If you plan a visit, check that your nearest one is taking part. There is still no exact start date.

What it means for players

Our take: the Edge feature is the one item today worth your time. Sixteen pages built on a visit to Rockstar's own studio, three weeks before launch, is rare access, and it costs nothing to read on Thursday. Expect interviews and screenshots rather than a review, and wait for the full text before believing any "Edge confirms" post. The coffee and the burgers are marketing. Nobody has tied either to an in-game item or a code, so buy them only if you want them. The 210 GB file size in Not confirmed below is the practical one: it is a single report, but it lands near the estimates we already planned around, so our advice stands. Clear about 250 GB before preloading opens on November 12, as our preload and file size page explains.

Not confirmed

• A 210 GB PS5 download. PlayStation Game Size, an X account that tracks PS5 install sizes, posted the figure on October 27 (Push Square). The PlayStation Store and Xbox Store web listings still show no size when we checked that day, and Rockstar has not posted one.
• Review copies and a November 18 embargo. Only the insider NateTheHate and Insider Gaming say so. No outlet we trust has said it has the game.
• A Sanguich "Vice City Special" sandwich. Miami New Times reports the Little Havana shop's Instagram post; no second outlet yet, and no date.
• Burger Shot prices. Only Miami New Times lists them so far.
• The Miami-Dade vote and the "Vice Beach" deal. Still no report of the county's decision, and the Miami Beach sign and sculpture details still come only from GTAVice.net's reading of city records.
• The PC window and who plays Jason and Lucia. Rockstar has announced neither, and we don't print names it hasn't confirmed.
