Ride a jet ski off Vice City. Rockstar named jet skiing as an activity, and Trailer 2 shows a couple on one near the skyline.

What Rockstar has shown
Jet skiing is one of the side activities Rockstar listed in Game Informer's cover story (IGN, VICE). The footage came first: Trailer 2 shows a couple on a jet ski with the Vice City skyline behind them (2:20), and in An Extended Look IGN spotted Lucia on one, joking that a jet ski is "the perfect way to show the world you hate the ocean".
Where you'll ride
Vice City's waterfront is built for it. Miami New Times, writing about Trailer 1, matched Vice City's coast to Miami's causeways, the Venetian and Rickenbacker among them, and its port to PortMiami, so the bay between the city and the beach islands should be busy, sheltered water. The open sea off the Leonida Keys is the other obvious playground.
Compared with GTA 5
Water activities are not new to the series: GTA 5's first gameplay video in 2013 already showed scuba diving next to golf and shopping (CBS News). What GTA 6 adds is the setting. Vice City is a water city, with a bay, causeways and island neighbourhoods, in a way Los Santos never was.
| Question | What we know |

| Can you ride jet skis? | Yes, shown with Lucia in An Extended Look |
| Is there a jet ski activity? | Rockstar lists "jet skiing", format not stated |
| Races? | Not stated |
| Where to find one | Not stated |
Our take: the jet ski will be the fastest fun way to see Vice City from the water, and we'd expect it to become a go-to getaway vehicle along the coast too, small, quick and able to slip into canals where police boats can't follow. That last part is our guess, not something Rockstar has said. As an activity, a timed race or checkpoint course is the likeliest format, since Rockstar grouped it with racing and airboating, but nothing confirms it yet. For a calmer ride, try it at sunset along the beach; Rockstar clearly built Vice City's coastline to be looked at.
What to watch for at launch
- Whether jet skiing is a race, a rental or free roam.
- Whether jet skis can be stored at a garage or marina.
- Whether two people can ride together, as the couple in Trailer 2 do.
