One-Eyed Willie's

Confirmed

An off-road mod shop on Lake Leonida known for hand-painted work, open only to Ultimate Edition owners.

What Rockstar says

One-Eyed Willie's is the second of the two mod shops that only open with the Ultimate Edition. The PlayStation Store calls it "Lake Leonida's storied mod shop, specializing in off-road modifications and hand-painted automotive artistry". Rockstar's press release, as TheSixthAxis printed it, adds that you can "transform off-road vehicles with exclusive mods and even attain custom hand-painted masterpieces". Rockstar's screenshot "One-Eyed Willie's Mod Shop 01" shows the shop.

Its natural partner is another Ultimate Edition item, the Vapid Dominator Buggy, which Rockstar pitches as "a Mud Club monster" for "the backwoods of Mount Kalaga and beyond".

Where is Lake Leonida?

Rockstar has not put Lake Leonida on a map yet; our pin is a guess. The likeliest real model is Lake Okeechobee, Florida's big inland lake, because Dexerto matches Ambrosia's sugar refinery to the one in Clewiston, a town on the lake's shore. That would put One-Eyed Willie's near Ambrosia, Leonida's farm and factory country. Treat that as our reading, not a fact.

The name

Players on r/GTA6 spotted the joke soon after the reveal: One-Eyed Willy is the pirate in the 1985 film The Goonies. Rockstar has not explained the name.

Off-road in GTA 6

The Extended Look shows why an off-road shop makes sense. IGN counts a 12-vehicle off-road race pitting bikes against quad bikes and trucks, and HotCars describes dirt-bike riders tearing through the countryside while spectators watch. See our racing page for what is known.

Our take: of the two Ultimate Edition mod shops, this is the more specialised and the easier to skip. Off-road builds and hand-painted liveries are a niche within a niche, and the shop sits outside the city, so most players will drive past it more often than they visit. If you love mud racing and the Dominator Buggy, it pairs naturally with the upgrade; otherwise, Rideout Customs is the shop that decides whether the Ultimate Edition is worth it for car fans.

What to watch for at launch

  • Where Lake Leonida is, so we can fix our pin.
  • Whether hand-painted liveries are custom designs or a set list.
  • Whether off-road races start near the shop.
