What Rockstar says

Stock 305 is one of the five Ultimate Edition shops. The PlayStation Store copy calls it "Stockyard's premier destination for elevated streetwear", where you can "style various unique and exclusive looks for Jason and Lucia". Rockstar's press release, as TheSixthAxis printed it, adds that the clothes "complement the murals, tags, and artwork that put the neighborhood on the map". Rockstar's screenshot "Stock 305 Clothing Store 01" shows the shop, and Rockstar Support lists it in the Ultimate Edition Upgrade, which Standard owners can buy at any time.

Stockyard itself was named on screen before the shop was: Trailer 1 shows a "Stockyard/Downtown" highway sign, and Miami New Times read the trailer's arts district as a take on Miami's Wynwood.

The name is a Miami nod too. 305 was Florida's very first area code, introduced in 1947, and today covers Miami-Dade County and the Keys (NBC 6 South Florida).

Why clothes matter more in GTA 6

Clothing is not just cosmetic this time, which makes any clothing store more useful than in past games:

Our take: Stock 305 is a style shop, not a necessity. Every clothing store in Leonida can give you a fresh outfit to lose the police, and IGN says each store has its own exclusives, so Standard Edition players won't be stuck in one look. What Stock 305 offers is a specific streetwear identity tied to Stockyard's art scene. If you buy the Ultimate Edition for the mod shops or the tattoo parlor anyway, this is a nice extra; on its own, we wouldn't upgrade for it.

What to watch for at launch

• How Stock 305's range compares with ordinary clothing stores.
• Whether Stockyard has other shops and murals open to everyone.
• Whether outfits from Stock 305 are recognisable to police like any other clothes.
