"RHYNO" is Travis Scott's track on Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, produced by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo of Daft Punk. The album is confirmed; where the song plays in the game is not.

Rockstar put it out on September 17, two months ahead of the game.
The song
Mixmag described it as "classic 32-bit era chug, eerie synths and a grinding bassline" from the producer it called "the former robot". Before release, artists on the album teased it with GTA-style images on Instagram, and Travis Scott wrote: "Now it's time. My return to game gotta come with rage and a lot of dancing. Let's ride." (Mixmag). Pitchfork confirmed the production credit when it rounded up the six songs.
Why the credit matters
Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo was half of Daft Punk, one of the most famous duos in electronic music. Pairing him with Travis Scott is the kind of credit that makes music press, not just gaming press, pay attention, and it did: Mixmag built its headline around it.
Rockstar described the album as arriving alongside "the next evolution of the pioneering in-game radio stations, dynamic score, and musical touchpoints that anchor the series" (Music Business Worldwide, quoting the announcement). Rockstar has since named its first stations, but that sentence still says very little about how the album and the stations connect.
Our take: of the six singles, "RHYNO" is the one built for the loudest moments, the kind of track that fits a chase or a big club night rather than a cruise. We would not be surprised to hear it in a mission or on a hip-hop station, but nothing confirms either. Travis Scott's "return to game" line reads to us as a pun on his comeback, not as a hint about a role in GTA 6; Rockstar has announced no cameos.
