A Vice City nightclub with a packed dance floor, seen by name in Trailer 2. Its banner planes also fly over the beach in Trailer 1 and An Extended Look.

What Rockstar has shown
NINE 1 NINE is the Vice City nightclub Rockstar has shown most. In Trailer 2 (1:40), a packed dance floor sits under its sign, and Miami New Times describes Jason and Lucia dancing there. The club advertises too: Miami New Times spotted a plane towing a NINE 1 NINE banner along the beach in Trailer 1, and IGN saw the same kind of airborne ad in An Extended Look.
The real-world model is clear. Dexerto and Miami New Times both read NINE 1 NINE as a nod to E11EVEN, the downtown Miami nightclub, and Miami New Times notes E11EVEN is known for exactly those beach banner planes.
Is it a place you can visit?
Rockstar hasn't described what you can do inside. Here is what points one way or the other:
| Clue | Source |
|---|---|
| Jason and Lucia are shown dancing in the club | Trailer 2, as Miami New Times and Dexerto describe it |
| Relationship time outside missions is part of the game, and some activities are dates | IGN preview, VICE on Game Informer |
| Miami New Times spotted a second club in Trailer 1 modelled on Club Space | Miami New Times |
| Nightclub ownership | Not mentioned for GTA 6 |
Compared with GTA Online
Rockstar has built a club business before. GTA Online's After Hours update (2018) let players work their way "from an empty Los Santos venue to running the hottest spot in clubland" with Gay Tony, according to Rockstar's announcement. GTA 6 is a single-player game at launch, and Rockstar hasn't mentioned owning businesses like that.
Our take: expect NINE 1 NINE to be a place you visit rather than a business you run. It shows up in a story-flavoured trailer moment with both leads on the dance floor, and IGN's preview talks about time spent together outside missions shaping the relationship, so a night out at the club as a date is our best guess for what it's for. Rockstar has shown no sign of GTA Online-style club management in GTA 6, and the property news so far is about garages and shops, not clubs. Treat ownership as unlikely until Rockstar says otherwise.
What to watch for at launch
- Whether you can enter NINE 1 NINE freely, or only in missions.
- Whether dancing is a minigame, and whether it counts as a date.
- Whether the Club Space-style venue from Trailer 1 is a second club you can visit.
