- Birdman and Lil Wayne
"Pop Bottles" by Birdman and Lil Wayne is the first song in An Extended Look. It starts six seconds in, as Jason and Lucia head up to a drug den in the opening scene, and plays for about 39 seconds by Game Rant's timestamps (0:06 to 0:45).
The song
"Pop Bottles" came out in 2007 as a single from Birdman's album 5 * Stunna on Cash Money, with Lil Wayne as the featured rapper. It made the Billboard Hot 100 (Billboard's chart history for Birdman), and Wikipedia puts its peak at No. 38. It is a song about money and celebration, which makes it an ironic start for a couple walking into a rough building to do a job.

| 14 | Inner Light | 25:44 | To the end | 2021 |
Before "Inner Light" begins, licensed songs fill about 14 minutes of the roughly 26-minute video, more than half of it. Seven of the 14 came out between 1976 and 1988, and four since 2021.
Our take: opening on three rap tracks in a row (this, "Pound Town" and "Skrilla") and then swinging to 70s soft rock tells you the radio will not pick one era. The split is the useful number: half the songs are from the late 70s and 80s, the era of Rockstar's earlier Vice City games (Vice City Stories, for one, is set in 1984, Kotaku notes), and most of the rest are recent. That looks like a deliberate mix of nostalgia and now. Rockstar has not named any stations, so we cannot say which station any of these songs will play on.
